Biographical Note

Lynne Poole was the first director of public relations at JHU. He held the position from 1946-1965. He hosted an produced the first education television series in America, "Johns Hopkins Science Review' (1948-1955). He and his wife, Gray Poole, co-authored several books on science, many directed to the juvenile audience.
