 <p>Alice W. Reins was a high school librarian in Baltimore.  She began working on a bibliography of the Birney Anti-Slavery Collection for the Department of History at Hopkins.  She was unable to finish the work, and it was not until 1985 that a printed bibliography was produced.</p>
